Aloha and welcome to Waimea Community Education!
Serving the Big Island community of Waimea and north Hawaii since 1984, Waimea Community Education offers a wide variety of affordable classes for all individuals from children to senior citizens.
You will find that our classes are as diverse and interesting as our community, with opportunities for professional development and education to classes for sheer fun and personal enrichment. We have wonderful courses that celebrate the Hawaiian culture through language, arts and hula, to classes in computer education, communications, photography, business, art, music, and health and wellness.
Waimea Community Education offers a core of “classic” courses that repeat throughout the year because of their popularity, and new classes are added to our dynamic program with every new session. We attract energetic and talented instructors from all walks of life, so you are sure to gain some special knowledge and undoubtedly have a good time as well.
